right, Exactly!!! Pixar Rocks out. We dont need anyone mucking about in pixars business. They are in it for the money as well as disney, but they also take quality into consideration.... Disney just churns out movie after movie. If pixar makes something awesome, they go make something different and even better. Disney makes something awesome (if they do) and then they make it over again. and again. They aint who they were... maybe this will restore them to their former glory. Even if it is under the banner of pixar. |

I started to seriously dislike Disney around the times of Pocahontas, Hunchback, and Little Mermaid. I can understand creative license, but these were almost blasphemous to me. Then they started an obscene trend of sub-par sequels (Disney became the McDonalds of movie makers). But what really threw me over the edge was their dealings with Pixar. Just let Pixar do their thing, ya know? Suck it up, keep them happy, and reap. |

Saw a Jobs interview on this and it basically boiled down to.... Pixar will make movies Disney will distribute them. Jobs made it quite clear that Disney brass would have little or no say in the 'making' end of things. |

Blaise, that's assuming Apple could afford Disney. |

Since Jobs now owns Disney, Pixar, and Apple there is no requirment for Apple to buy Disney. The possiblity of matereal making its way to from Disney to itunes is not that far off. |
