Been to any good concerts/shows lately?
Any forthcoming?
Not much happening here on the frigid tundra but I will get to go to see Carlos in April and Clapton in March.
Regardless of whether you like Santana's "Latin Rock" they are first rate musicians.
As for Clapton, I just hope he sticks to the old stuff.
You know SleepingWolf, I've just been collating some music for a post and I was thinking about concert I have been to too.
I went to an Echo and the Bunnymen concert at the Cavern in Liverpool last October that was really good. The music was great as usual but it was also a buzz seeing all the faces I had not seen in quite a while.
I've nothing planned in the near future though.
Carlos and Clapton now that's guitar pedigree.

They are playing in a lot of venues this year kimson both as a band and individually. I'm sure they are playing at the Royal Albert Hall on Tue 16 Sep 2008 which I think is local for you.
I think I will go and see Cirque du Soleil: Delirium in Liverpool on the 25th March. Has anyone seen their stuff if so what do you think? I'm still trying to get tickets for the Roger Waters concert. It sold out really quickly. Gadzooks the price of these things Cirque du Soleil: £45:00. Roger Waters: £50:00, but I'm guessing they will be twice as much now.
I wish my ears would allow me to go to Rock Concerts
Slightly on the bright side, I don't think my Tinnitus (if that is what you are alluding to) can get much worse WebShaman so I feel as if I have nothing to lose. Sometimes deafness seems to me to be preferable to the screaming noises in my head.
Then I think of birdsong, and Miles Davis and I bite the bullet and get on with it.

I actually loose my hearing temporarily if my ears are subjected to loud sound (they go "numb" and I have just a loud ringing in them for a considerable amount of time afterwards - the louder the sound and the longer I listen to it, the longer the numbing).
Rock Concerts are out, as are visits to Airports (outside, where they takeoff).
New Year's is also a concern, due to the loud fireworks here in Germany.
It is kind of hard for me to work without being able to hear.

Any Santana fans out there?
Even if you don't like their music, these guys put on an amazing show.. awesome musicians.
Saw them yesterday. Great concert.
The very talented guitarist Derek Trucks opened and was invited to jam as well.
Ooh, I went to see 65 Days of Static the other day, they were supported by the Errors, which were bloody brilliant.
I'm also trying to get along to MSTRKRFT this weekend, that should be awesome if I can get the tickets on the door.
Upset I missed The Mars Volta at Brixton Academy, has anyone caught them yet?
Going to see Steve Winwood and Tom Petty this summer.Haven't been to much recently though.--Any sufficiently advanced bug is indistinguishable from a feature.
Would love to see Winwood, will have to settle for Clapton alone in May.
I'm not a huge fan of Steve Winwood, but I knew a couple songs. Apparently he has a new album out and he played a bunch from it...
Tom Petty absolutely rocked though Kudos to his sound guys getting the balance and levels right. It actually sounded like music (unlike some concerts you go to), and a lot of it was better than off the albums
