(Not sure if this should be posted here or in the sigs forum, but just move it...)

What signature is the best ever here at OA in your opinion? post the sig.

I'm sure someone with the name starting with the letter "m" will have many votes but mine goes to Nimraw and this sig:

umm..there is no "best sigs ever", everyone has diffrent oppinions on what they like as well diffrent interests...

so I think its pointless to continue...

When seeing the topic title the first sig I thought of was Nimraw's as well, so I'll second that vote

pointless or not....

i like michael's and shiiizzzam's current sigs. and pretty much anything that mahjqa does

Good thread. We've all got different opinions on this stuff.... so that's what makes it nice.
Hmm... tough decision too. I like certain sigs for different reasons. Some are the "best" for this... and some are the "best" for that.
I said this a year or so ago... and I'll have to continue to stick by one of DG's old sigs..... prolly from back in 2000...
It was a rather large sig... which had a big bug on it that was blue and gold (if I remember correctly)... and it had some blue lines? in the background of it... and I think it said, "Don't close your eyes..... There's something in the garden..."
I dunno why... I just like it.

For a category of complete craziness.... it'd have to go to izzay's piggy demon sig... hahah... that thing is a riot.
For something that's witty and fits an Asylum personality... I've got to go with izzay's pear with the chainmail... that cracks me up.
Simplicity... Nax's current sig.... or perhaps twitch's old sig where he had signed his name in yellow.
Drac's coffee sig is a classic... love that too.
Inspiring stuff really goes to a lot of Wead and Mahjqala Leegonai Danko's stuff..... it's too hard to pick out specifics on those.

There's a whole bunch more that I really enjoy seeing... but I'll let some other folks chime in.

I echo a lot of what Michael said...DG (many of his are really good), Weadah (astounding talent, the man), Mahjqa of course...and Drac, with his coffee deco...I really like that one.

And I really like Bugs sigs...they just...apply so well...DL has a great sig, IMHO. Oh, and who can forget our pear-man, Izzay! Especially the flame-thrower pear...and the VP pear...very nice.

I always loved this sig by Weadah.



I wish he would return some day .

Mahjqa's dolphin is probably the second-most-asked-about sig ever (anything fire-related being first) -- so I have to give it my vote.

This one is my favorite....

My all time favorite wasn't exactly a sig. It was Weadah's 100th post done upside-down. Maybe it was his 200th? Anways, total classic.

I like mahjqa's leaf sig the best. It's just beautiful. Nimraw's would be my second choice.

My favourites? Definitely Wead's work. He always pushed the bar for me, back when it was manic and fun.

One that I always liked is Blook`s *nervous eyes* sig.
Darkgarden and Weadz have some that are pretty good, too.
Mahjqa`s animations rock. ( what ever happend to that dragon you started ?)
And F1_ERROR`s christmas sig.

I don't think I could pick a single sig I like more than any other. So many of the people here have come up with some really amazing ideas and when it comes to sigs the concept counts more then the skill of the artist IMHO. To some degree, sigs are about personal expression and well, in this regard there are no rights or wrongs.

I'm not even gonna start listing people with sigs that I've fallen in love with over the years cause there's just too many.

The best sig ever? I really like Mahjq'a leaf sig. His animated work is fantastic as well.

Dracusis's coffee cup is next, followed by Nimraw's cubes. I haven't seen Weedah's sigs. Although I never seen it before today I like Dark Garden's something in the garden sig. Is there an archive of sigs so I can see older work?

Ooooooooooo this is horribly subjective and I always end up leaving stuff out. As well as Nimraw's (and in no particualr order):

1. I love Dracusis' coffee cup sig above.

2. DG's sword sig (#14) is outrageous as a sig but it is superb.

3. Weadah's spider (and the 'Jestah is Gay' one for comedy value).

4. Mahjqa's Gears sig (there is something very satisffying about it) and the dolphin well.......

5. eyezaer - all the pears!!

6. DL's chooper (what??)

7. vp must all get a prize for quality and quantity

really, everyones sigs here at the asylum are wonderful cos the asylum inspires ppl to experiment and create.

I just went through the FAQ and the posted sigs. Wow. I mean it. A lot of the work just blew me away. I'm sorry to have missed so many good sigs the first time around. I hope us newbies can do as well in the future.
