While most of it was silly, there were some good ideas, and thoughts being tossed around. And these could lead to a viable model for Doc to make some cash to keep things alive here.
For those of you that don't have your own server, or host somewhere, server and traffic costs quite a bit of cash. Whenever I think of what Doc's monthly and quarterly costs must be, I wonder how he does it. Anything we can do to keep help Doc out, I think, would be a good thing. Doc does not sak for us to pay for anything here, and he gives this service freely, if we can help him by buying a tshirt, or coffee mug, or whatever, that is a good thing.
Doctor Thaddeus Ozone, has become a 'brand', for lack of a better word. Let's see what we can come up with for ideas to add to that brand. Don't worry about them being to wacky or odd, thats how good ideas come about. And also, let's see if we cannot find ways to make some of these ideas come to life. Maybe http://www.thinkgeek.com could do some 'other' tshirts for us?

How about Ozone prophylactics? They could come in a box with the ozone logo and would be orange and blue.

Some of my ideas to add would be :

A mouse to go with the mouse pad

Calender (real and of COURSE a daily reading one... the funny kind where we all get to do the quote of the day kinda thing)

Recipe Book with everyones favorite recipe in it and Docs graphic on the front

Frisbe !

Snowboards

dog collar and leash (for toe muncher)

panties (for me and malin and the girls)

swim stuff for the guys with OZONE on the leg (perk)

I like Shii's idea about the calendar, but how about making it a Photoshop tut of the day calendar, maybe with a different sig on each one from the good folks here at the Asylum.

I love the tutorial calendar idea! However, I don't know how a full tutorial could possibly fit on the regular-sized daily tear off calendars. Maybe a standard 12-month wall calendar with a full tutorial each month at the top and quick tips and tricks on the actual days themselves.

How about some laid back sunglasses to wear while zipping ozone beer out of a ozone mug and smoking mi cigar lighted with the ozone zippo.

BeeKay, I didn't forget the straitjacket idea. Since about early to mid Dec, we've had an idea for the Aslyum that involves straitjacket-jackets. If we can get the funding (sponsorships) we'll be unveiling the suprize at OzoneDotCon, and I think thet will also be available online at that time. So cross your fingers and hope we can get funding.

Personally I like the calender idea. I'm thinking of a combination comic, tutorial, tip calender. The only thing is how to build it, and where to go for publishing.

I like the comic, books and calendars idea. Publish the handson on a book, put a litle bit of comic approach.

OZONE already was a comic, about 8-10 years ago! I doubt I'd ever re-release them, most likely I would have to recreate the whole series from scratch, with a better story line, heh. Also, just FYI, the official OZONE animal totem is not a flying *monkey*, but a flying *PIG*. Important difference there. As soon as I get my electroinic copies of the egypt tripå, I'll post pictures of my li'l flying pig, who came along for the ride and posed for a few photo ops.
