I'd really like to see more matches that are based solely on the paintbrush instead of cheap filter effects and hellacious photo manips.

that's gotta be the weirdest serve ever. the oddity-level only matched by the return. I'll be fairly disappointed if this takes a turn for the normal.

Ok, so I have to ask. . . ya ya another newbie shootin' his ignorant mouth off. . . I've been browsing these matches - this is the first time I've ever seen anything like this BTW - and I would like to get involved, but it seems that I would be at an extreme disadvantage. Do most of you just paint this stuff in??? If so, then I'm just gonna bow out gracefully and watch cause. . . I mean. . . wow.

Edit: Oh yeah, is there such thing as a winner? What exactly resolves a match? I looked through the guidelines thing, but didn't really see what constitutes the end.

Nah man, no real "winner". It's all for the sake of a challenge and something to do when you're bored or wanna work on your PS skills.
There's been a few other matches that have been comprised of only "painting"..... but not many.
In my opinion, however, I think the painted matches don't occuer often enough, AND that they're more exciting to watch.

The matches usually consist of 3 to 4 "turns" per person.... and it just kinda ends when the two people agree that the picture is "finished".

Synax, how did you do that light in the corner. Is it completely just painted? If so the cool! If not GREAT cause I would like to be able to do an effect like that.

The light in the corner was painted. Then DG changed the color and added some flares to it. Then in the next return I just liquified the shite out of it. It looks really filteresque, but it's not (unless you count liquify as a filter). I actually hope DG fixes that in his next return, and if not I will.

I like how you did the arms synax! Those are nice!

Adam, Peter's time is relative. It's just not relative to time. I don't know for certain, but I think it's related to the Welsh language--you can understand our confusion. When he says "tomorrow," he means "yfory," which means nothing at all to anyone that doesn't speak Welsh.
