How do I get rid of unwanted INDIVIDUAL guides? Not view > clear guides. In PS, I can click and drag around guides like mad. Similar function in AI?

You can usually drag an individual guide off the screen to get rid of it. If you're talking about something different, let me know ...

BeeKay- yes that's what I am talking about. I have tried using both the Selection Tool and the Direct Selection Tool then clicking on the individual guide. Not working. I even make sure that I am in the correct layer which contains the desired guide. hmmm. . . . annoying.

Make sure the guides aren't locked. I've had them locked before in PS and forgotten about it. Got real annoying real quick until I realized what was happening.

Ohhhhh, I feel dumb now.
I know that whenever I open AI (I know what that is now, hehehehehe) the guides are locked to start off with. There might be a way to change that in preferences or something ... I dunno. Anyways ...
