If you use Win2K, there's no need for that shit... If you use Win9x, then I would suggest you to try out RAMpage. Why this one? Because when running, it uses less memory than every other memory optimizing program (RamBooster uses 2Mb of RAM itself, and others even more). |

i use cacheman.. doing my job by opening too many windows makes my 128MB RAM cry aloud sometimes ! LOL ! the indicator shows me when i use too much memory.. i guess cacheman is OK for me ! |

I use a program called MemTurbo... it shows how much ram is being used, lets me clear ram, stuff like that. I only find it useful to clear memory after the computer has been on for hours and all the memory leaks start to add up. After keep it on for 3 days straight I got to the point where little windows icons started to just appear as black squares because there wasn't enough ram to show them... and I have 128 megs. |

I am with Uneak. Win2K rocks and does a pretty good job. I used to use one of those memory programs but it would be just pain in the ass. You know, if your computer boots too slow just go to start>run and type in msconfig. From there you can make some adjustments that really help. |
