All that happend was that the appeals court decided that the judge in the case was partial when he made his ruling. Maybe I'm one of those crazy people... but I'm just not seeing why the man should have his company split up simply because everyone uses his products... I mean, isn't that sort of non-American? Who buys operating systems anymore? Don't like Windows? Use a Mac or download *nix. Anything else is MS. And quite frankly, it's a decent program... So he's shipping it on all new computers....so what?! I guess I just don't care that his software is selling so well. Not my problem. He's saving me a lot of time and trouble when I buy a computer--Windows is already installed, and I don't have to worry about it.

It's the fact that MS stifles innovation through unfair market practices. If they would just steal the good ideas and make it work, that wouldn't even be so bad. But, isn't that funny that people are still trying to "destroy" Microsoft and everything what they do. Now, the enemies started to complain about instant messaging. Who cares if MS would be shipping MSN Messenger with Windows XP (it is already included with Windows ME, and you don't have to install it if you don't want to). No one is obligated to use it, and you're not forced to open an account with that IM system if you don't want to. But, no, AOL (ICQ & AIM) felt threatened and they started to attack Microsoft, again...
