They currently have the fastest drive, a 40x, that has been tested to write a complete CD in under 3 1/2 minutes. It's got a good buffer, over/under run protection, and reliability. The last 1/2 dozen drives we've bought have been Plextor, and we don't have any complaints.

i got a Plextor 16/10/40 it is great. I had some cdrom drive problems a while back, but it was not due to the Plextor drive.
