I am 46, orig. from Germany but somehow in my travels I got stuck in Canada.
With a 17 year old daughter and a menagerie of pets live gets fairly hectic at times and I am looking forward to my retirement at age 90. I told my daughter -
I don't care where you stick me as long as I have :

for money I run a recieving dock for a local arts+crafts distribution/mfg company
for fun I perform a steady regiment of hiking, drawing, biking, camping, drinking beer, playing volleyball and cooking

I totally misread that one for a moment, and thought "wait... how does that work?"

Ah well .. I guess the old bugger's been around long enough to have to show himself at last ... I'm 54 in July, got 2 daughters, 2 grandkids (one of each - 4 and 2) and a pretty smart wife (oh .. and a mother too - she's visiting Holland right now). I'm the Technical Webmaster of the Scientific Services site at the European Space Agency, and a freelance web designer for small businesses. Outside of that and playing unlimited length games of PSpong, I'm a SCUBA instructor, keelboat sailor and racer, I play bass guitar (4 str. fretless and 5 str. fretted) and put music together on my computer using trackers and samples. I run two web radio stations (one trance, one chill and ambient), I drive an old XJ40 Jaguar.

I've travelled to, and lived in, the Far East, Europe and West Africa when I worked in the oil business and to many other places on vacation and visits to friends. To top off a good life, I've been married for 30 years to the real talent in our partnership. Tribwife (a.k.a. Carol) is an established and extremely accomplished painter and photographer (amongst other artistic skills). She also runs, and teaches in, her own Pilates exercise studio. Here are two examples of her work (badly jpeg'd by me - sorry) ....

Suho: Actually, my current hair is completely different from all of those photos. For the first time in about 5 years my hair is 100% natural. It's scaring the hell out of me whenever I look in the mirror so I'll be dying it again as soon as I get paid!... Any suggestions on the colour(s)?

Age: As of this July, I'll legally be able to drink in one year (ie. 19)
Location: The middle of the middle of nowhere, simply called West Texas.
Education: 4th semester Junior at UTPB (not peanut butter), will be a Senior this fall. Currently working on a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics.
Occupation: Computer Science Research Lab Assisstant (glorified way of saying I sit in the lab all day listening to music, answering everyones questions about their homework, contributing to most of the research teams at least a little, and occasionally getting into the server room to actually do some work :/ ).
Misc.: ... Wow, deja vu all over again... Sorry... I play baseball at the Univ. (pitcher and 2nd base), and I play trumpet in the Jazz band at the college across town...
And if you really want to know anymore than that, you're just too damn nosey and need to mind your own business

Drac: Honestly, I think you look better with the short blond/white hair. Although if your up for something new you could try some blue highlights. I think that might be interesting.

You can't tell from the Pic, but actually I do have what some people have called "a ratty little poor excuse for a ponytail". I think they are all just jealous. And it is not ponytail, it is what we used to call a yuppietail, back in the day.

Trained as a film-maker, but currently working as a web-app-designer, although a just-acquired promotion will take me away from coding for a living, and into management.
