Well, it has been weeks but I finally got around to trying my hand and burning wood. I used DG's technique to do it. I think it isn't too bad for my first try. Anyway,here it is. This one is for you, bunchapixels! <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/biggrin.gif">

im very impressed - much more impressed with the burn effect than the look of the actual wood, that's for sure.

dont care who you stole it from! im sure even doc can see that its not meant to be used where it repeats vertically 2 and a half times! <img border=0 align=absmiddle src="http://www.ozones.com/forum/wink.gif">

Though my opinion is worth less than rice in the arctic, I'll go ahead and say that the wood texture used is just fine.

Not spectacular, by any means, but just fine. So quit bitching.

well done Blook!.. looks very good... I like the way you have little burn marks going vertical as if the steam off teh hot iron just slightly burned the wood as it was pressed on.. nice.. very nice!

dude blook, that burn really rocks!
heh.. i still havent gottin my ps bured file rebuilt.
i think the only thing that needs work is the edge of the wood, both the right and left side are really sharp in here. maybe a little blend into the BG color and it would be VERy Nice.
