Just wondering...
How many times do you think you check these forums in a 24 hour time span?

at least once a day, in the evening. Mostly I also like to check in the morning and later at night. I guess the average is twice a day.

I'd say I prolly fall into the "too much" category.

Every time I sign on, or take a break from what I'm doing, or just before I sign off for the night. As for a number, I would have to say 3 - 5 times a day.

I think I might count tomorrow... have a little tally sheet next to my computer...

oooohhhh, you DO NOT want to know.... but if i were to tell you im averaging about 200 posts/month, you woulnt believe me if i said once a day, now, would you?

um, hi everybody, my name is adam, and im an asylumoholic. sometimes barely 5 minutes goes by before i check for new posts - in my average 8 hour day, maybe 2 hours of it has an ozone asylum browser window closed. the rest of the time, its at least open in the background, and i refresh it to see if there has been any new posts - i have no idea what the time is in australia, but i know that its 11:55 in sweden.
Ive lost my wife, my kids and my dog because of this place.... oh hang on, i never had any. But if i did, i wouldnt know anyway.

u average 6.03 posts per day BP, i was bored

so, what's my average now, huh?

oh, and i thought this would be an appropriate thread to put my 600TH POST into.
so, how many posts until i officially have no life?

I usually check the forums twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. But only on Monday through Thursday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday I usually don't have time to get on line.

So I guess that averages out to about 1.2 times a day.

It usually takes me about 45 minuntes to read all the posts I haven't seen.

Normally check into the Asylum at least 10 times a day ... I know Im a loser

Mon - Fri I check in at about 6.30 at work and then check again at around 12.30 for a break. Then If the wife lets me I check again at home late in the evenings. Weekends, only if I can find the time.

Every evening, after classes.
I just don't wanna miss it. You know what I mean.

Hmm, for me it's first thing in the AM, then a couple of times during the day from work, and then when I get home from work and then before bed. Say 4 times/day during weekdays, and ... OK, about 4 times/day during weekends too! 2-3 evenings a week I'll sit and try and go through the entire thing, forum by forum, even though I know I'm missing some posts from yesterday, heh. /This used to be my home page, but then I'd luanch a new browser widnow and reset all my cookies! Now I use about:blank)

Hey Krets! Do you count occasional trips to the bathroom and such as "breaks" in the online session, or do you just run it all togther? I'm thinking that if we can find someone who pops in "just once" a day they might end up being the most often online! Ahem...

"I visit the site just once a day. Starting at 9:00am, I sit in my chair, waiting and waiting for the next post. Since I have planned ahead, I have enough beer and cookies near my desk so that I may remain here until 3:00am, and then off for 6 hours of blessed rest! Repeat."

I used to check it every day, but I'm breaking away and checking less frequently as I work on my webcam and online journal.

You need to get your priorities straight again.

first thing weekdays, and then the window lies in the background, until I leave.
I perhaps check it 3-5 times. And then when I get home.

Unfortunately, that's going to change a bit. Will be ludicrously busy at least until mid March

well.... no one busted out any big numbers in here like I expected....
... it was all "pawned" off by saying... "more than I should"... or....."too much"
No big deal though.
As I posted earlier on this thread, I said I was going to count one day.
So I kept a piece of paper next to my computer and made a tally mark everytime I came back here.

At the end of the day the tallies were higher than 20... I'll say that much.

Lately? More than ever...
