*WebShaman wanders the halls, stops by the now deserted laboratory, where once evil experiments with electricity were conducted by the Asylum's resident mad shocker, Master Suho*

Is there a pun in there?

*WebShaman sees the hapless Blaise poke his head in the door of the now cobwebbed laboratory, and a light bulb glows briefly over his head*

"Come in Blaise, I take it you haven't been in the Laboratory before, yes? Why don't you have a seat?" *WebShaman gestures to an old, cobwebbed and dusty chair*

*As Blaise sits himself , WebShaman throws a rusty switch and high voltage from the storage battieres surge through Blaises body, causing it to jump and twitch, and a ragged scream came from between blistered lips*

"Hmmm...I always wondered why Master Suho used to love doing this so much...now I know why!"

*The screams grew louder, as WebShaman pumpes up the voltage*

"I'm afraid the joke's on you, old chap!"

"Now if only Master Suho were here" *WebShaman loads the peacepipe, and lights it with a spark coming from Blaise*

Rumors say he's been flirting a bit with the squid of the north wing. Actually no one saw him since then. Who knows, he's probably the happy daddy of a little squidy now.

*Sees that Poi has ducked in*

"Wanna take a go at the voltage dial?"

"This wasn't in the brochure" *says Blaise*

*WebShaman blew out a great puff of smoke, which slowly formed into a ring, as Poi...<complete sentence here>*

I don't know if I'm worthy of holding the voltage dial.
It is a responsability for a Mad Scientist not a minion.

*... wander in SUHO's abandonned laboratory. While looking after some clues about the master, he notices ... <complete sentence here>*

fwiw, Suho's been hella busy lately getting his ducks in a row. November is novel writing month and ....well, here's his quick explanation:

Yeah WS I miss old shockko not being here as much as he used to. Gone are the days when I would wander down to the basement at any time of the day or night to see Suho totally immersed in his work.
I heard he was working on a new method of shock delivery. Inspired by the flood of iPod and iTunes adverts our Master Suho has developed the Ozone Asylum iShock. It's portable and WiFi enabled, apparently.
That's an interesting project to have "nanowrimo", thanks for the link Lacuna. Btw 'tis nice to see you as well, or am I just on one of my "walkabouts" when you are here

*Watches Blaise blaze at full voltage*

"Wow!"

*Puff, puff*

"Peacepipe, anyone?"

*Wanders into a smoke tinged room with sparks still flying off Blaise*
*Accepts pipe from WS gladly, and sits down on the floor* "Ah peace at last"
*Starts to blather on about loud mouthed people and ignorance and the way things used to be when "I was a lad" and I'm ok I just need to keep away from uptight, short sighted, narrow minded hypocrites*
*Passes the pipe as WebShaman makes sure Tao is not disturbed by placing a ring of cones around him*

I miss seeing Emps around here too

TAO emps is ok, just incredibly busy. I spoke with him a week or so on ICQ so all is well with him

*hearing screams from the far hallway above the torture chamber, and taking great wonder at the irony of this, Iron Wallaby extracts himself from the fearsome mother-of-all-torture-devices, the "comfy chair," and wanders the halls in his straightjakets until finding the source of the screams. Poking his head in the door, he is offered a peace pipe by Tao, takes it (somehow oddly, considering he is still in a straightjacket), puffs thoughtfully, and wanders over to check on that squid in the north wing...*

That NaNoWriMo thing sounds nifty. If I had any sort of free time I'd be inclined to tackle it.

nnaa, i took a bit of a break is all. life has been pretty busy and i've had little desire to be on the computer for any reason... have even been neglecting my email. however, i do manage to find time for Q.

as tom said, all is well with emps...er... was anyway. he took a tumble off of a chair he was standing on today.... i would have paid money to see it, but the visual in my head will have to suffice. I believe he was trying to implement a new anti-squid device when it happened.

Nice to see you Emperor. In the absence of Suho, why not training the squid to handle the electric devices ? I'm sure it'd do a great job at grabbing the dements with its many tentacles and then triggering the power supply.

Oh, it isn't THAT bad...that is how members get nicknames around here, sometimes...I got Ray, then there is Master Suho, etc, etc. Ask Krets sometime about Krotchmonkey!!

* WavMixer is awakened by the scent of BBQ and mumbling from down the hall. Stretching an arm through the cell bars, Wav barely reaches a paperclip that surely must have fallen from one of the Doctor's medical charts. Utilizing the lock picking skills acquired in reform school, Wav frees himself from the confines of his mildewed cell and wanders aimlessly though the maze known only as the Asylum. Using his proboscis as a guide he gets closer to the smell of BBQ when he stumbles over a severed squid tentacle. Although originally lured by the fragrance of charred meat, Wav pauses momentarily to lunch on the squid sushi. After emitting a couple of hearty calamari belches, Wav continues roaming the halls searching for the origin of the charred flesh smell that permeates the air in the Asylum.*
