i'm afraid i don't see a serve in my VERY near future ... i'm in the process of transferring my computer-flavoured property from mum's place into the office i've just fashioned out of a spare room at MY place (because my place will soon be wired up for broadband.. finally.. i've been spoiled so i refused to move my stuff earlier because that would have meant, omg, dial up..)

so anyway, as this 'artiste' can't work when things are all over the place like they are now, i'm very content to sit back and enjoy the picture show you all are exhibiting. very impressed!

I've got the bug to waste good sleepy-time on PS practice some time soon. This may, in part, be something to do with the fact that Half-Life2's anti-climactic ending has caused severe trauma to my usual gaming ardour. It may also be partially attributed to my current countenance on an upward bi-polar swing (which should be good for a few days yet) despite the miserable S.A.D-inducive climate.

All-in-all, I'm headed for a serious end-of-season bout of chronic insomnia, and I would love to jump back into the fray. I really don't want to see this thread end any time soon, and would be delighted to see some more creations from you lot (so far, all amazing ).

In the meantime, things being all over the place (like, my brain and stuff and things and all that) have taken their toll 'pon me today. It is after 2am and I should at least be attempting to go to sleep.

The Curse of Pong strikes again.

Seems my mojo had a fluctuation the other day. Within a 24-hour period, four laptops suddenly refused to play VCDs, two PCs began spewing nothing but junk at the printer, a projector died, and a machine I was cleaning up decided to stop booting - and all of this shortly after posting my latest serve.

...but all later, mysteriously, proved to be in fine working condition, though I did have to run a hasty repair job on the non-booter. This obviously means that Temps is the next victim again. This is like Final Destination with electronics fatalities...

I suppose, since I'm relatively healthy, I'll post the next serve within twenty-four hours.

It apparently happens that my brothers modem has DIED OUT AS WELL!!! Actually not died out but somewhat. I have XP and there's absolutely no driver for XP! Even the darn company shut down!!! My brother had installed XP in his system and was using my PC to surf the net but now that's out of the question. I guess it's high time I bought a new one maybe a nice Rockwell one my 'former' modem was Connectionant... that's how you spell it right??

[/small]It appears since I've started this thread all I've gotten is trouble... first my hard drive almost gets whiped out, then I suddenly have the insatiable urge to install Fedora in my system and fail miserably in the task ultimately resulting in me having to format my PC like oooo 4 times in a day!!!! THEN I enter this never ending series of silence!! AND NOW JUST A FEW WEEKS TO MY RETURN AND I'M BACK IN THAT ACCURSED ZONE!!!!! Oh and I almost forgot in formating my PC I lost my entire StarCraft history of all the missions I had finished! I have to play those darn missions all over again!!!!!!!! Life sucks....[/small]

Hey Temps, sorry about the (counts his fingers) umpty-day delay. As usual, my expression of a moment's freedom brought on a bad case of over-work and countless unavoidable appointments.
With a sudden in-flux of last-minute jobs, three birthdays (not all mine, of course) and a Mother's Day have monopolised my time a tad. The only time I've been able to get online is at work - where I have been banned from accessing Ozone Asylum!

See, Zavaboy, you're not the only one to have Ozone Asylum rights denied. I cheat though, and use an encrypted proxy to browse the threads once in a while, thereby circumventing local filters. Unfortunately, being a bit of a cheap skate, I never seem to get around to paying the small fee that would allow me to post via the proxy...

Anyway, all this leads me to apologies yet again, for not posting when I said I would. I can't even provide an aborted attempt at a serve, as I simply have not lifted a pixel since my last post here.

Well I'd love to continue but even my "day's" not over!! You see my Physics Sir started these series of long tests for us on account of my exams that are roughly a month away. So I'm busy there still I do manage to get around an hour to myself. I'll try to whip something out then... hey wasn't LaSun in this game as well??? Or was she just a passer by!

I'm not going to be able to spare anytime, even though I will try, so somebody, other than me, is going to have to continue!

Okay, I doubt the battery will last a frenzied art-attack on the motorway (hmmmm - car chargers..? ) but it does mean that I can take the odd quiet moment to work on something - especially if I'm staying at a hotel while providing on-site support. One of the perks of these squalid little havens for the errant technician, is that most provide internet access..!

I'll let y'all know how it goes.

This is turning out to be like page 4! Somebody serve! Oh and new discoveries. I was looking through all the previous serves and found out that *OH MY GOSH* Ebopedoce's first serve was ILLEAGAL!!! Note the file format... *.gif didn't we agree on a *.jpg only game... oh well what's done is done...

Sorry but that serve will have to wait for a while. I got exams the date just came in. They from the 23rd wish me luck. I won't be able to spare much time for PS and everything else related to computers! If someone else feels like serving go ahead.

I keep falling into the trap of thinking I'm going to have free time, but things never really work out that way. Positive upshot of the last few weeks is that I moved into a new flat (that's apartment to most of you, I'd wager). Much better location, easier travel, etc.
Work hasn't been unbearably hectic, but we've been moving offices too (funny how things always happen at the same time) so I haven't so much as fired-up Photoshop in ages.

This is where I would normally type, "but I should have some time in the next couple of weeks", but I've been down that road before, so I'll just have to see what happens...

Well it's obvious that me serving against my own serve is kinda stupid so someone's bound to serve sometime! I guess time will tell!
