*Back from illness... I think!!!*

Is there an image and perhaps some legible text anywhere in our future ?

We're getting there... sooner or later... I was sick so I couldn't post anything. Now that I feel much better perhaps I'll fire up PS tonight! And as for legible text, define legible in this thread! Hey WH was upto something in a previous post as I recall whatever happened to that??

My PC has developed a frequent seizure problem - random lock-ups that require rebooting. I'm trying not to get too frustrated with it - underclocked and super-cooled, it still freezes, and it isn't a software problem, so I'm thinking of stripping it down completely over the weekend and removing bits I don't need (like the TV tuner and extra network port). I'm also going to hard-wire it to my router as the freezes may have worsened since installation of my wireless card.

I suspect it is either a hardware conflict (not IRQ related) or a badly-seated card or connection somewhere. I'm losing hope of actually pinpointing it before I've either cured it or blown the machine altogether.

The lock-ups happen too frequently to give me time to do anything all that productive.

Ambient temperature has dropped perceptibly since the short storms today, and my PC is (mysteriously) better behaved. Perhaps I was a little hasty in my assumption about temperature. I should not overlook the possibility of an overheated graphics card.

Still going to strip her down a bit. May even try a new PSU (though mine should be beefy enough).

I'm also thinking that the 100V cold-cathode UV lamp might be a bit of overkill...

Ok on a tangent now- after looking at the other 'pongers' got a few question...

1) Do i have to use the last image created and do whatever with that?
2) Are psd- the file type that the image is stored as in photoshop or does is stand for something else?
