Yeah. How do you make your $ / what is your line(s) of work?

Me? I do odd jobs. Fence painting right now. I also do some freelancing video projects for local churches. I am also goin to college, and am trying to get scholarships for that as well. (but the school has been screwing with me.)

well, i am doing a little php programming and image manipulating for a local company.

I'm unemployed, and undecided on what I'll train for when I go to university.

I'm working a full-time job at DaimlerChrysler HQ in Auburn Hills, MI. I'm part of a programming team working on development of a new application for use in a new product at Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealerships. Sorry but I can't tell you any more than that

In the fall I'm going to be going back to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor to continue my education in Computer Science. While I'm there I'll be working part-time for DC from my dorm room

No, I get paid by the college to go to college (if you get what I mean) it's sort of free education money if you like , but you have to be in all the time to get it though. I'm looking for summer work/placement, etc and have sent piles of letters of a few weeks ago to companies and no returns yet . Aww well I keep trying but for some reason I think I'm aiming at the wrong area of the market tho..hhmm.....

I work on missile systems and build bombs.
Been doing it for a few years now.
In my free time, I used to do a bit of free-lance design stuff as part of a 4 man team... but not anymore...
...just kinda focusing on enjoying the edges of the web that I find appealing right now.

Part-time janitor. A whopping 5 hours a week. Gotta love it.

I do some freelance when the mood strikes me.

Good thing I got myself a sugarmomma to be the major bread winner around here. She can't wait to get back to work and let me handle the kids full-time.

I play with databases for my employer's Marketing Department. My job's like being the bastard son of I.T. and Marketing, and neither department really knows what I do or how I do it.

Aside from that... I don't think I've made an *HONEST* dime in my life. Well, ya, I did. I sold a plastic baseball bat when I was 10 to a 7-year old for $10 which he had to "borrow" from his mom's purse. Yes, the purse was very kind to him. His mom came over to my house and started bitching at me. I refunded the kid's purchase and started bashing her face in with the bat... I went to juvenile hall for that and now I'm a convicted felon. I'm suprised I'm in college right now. Now, back to making money. I sell drugs and drug paraphenelia to schoolyard children and I'm the local playground pimp. I prostitute young children to Catholic priests and make a pretty good living doing so. The priests clear me of my sins and guarantee me passage into Heaven. I was even told that I can rape as many women as I wanted and pillage as many villages as I could as long as I sold them small male children. Ya know... I'm getting tired of the playground pimp business. I think I'll move into the goat porn industry.. the kind where midgets and goats get along... "fine."

Forgot. I also do freelance work and I'm in the planning stages of starting my own design and development firm complete with manufacturing and high-tech equipment that'll make you cry.

Drive by stripping - we cruise around when it is busy, spot a big crowd of people and stop - I start to do my thang and my friends pass around the hat to collect enough money to make me stop.

It doesn't actually make much money (and that usually has to go on the medical and dental bills) but its more of a vocation

I run a receiving dock for a mail-order arts&crafts/sports/therepeutic equipment manufacturer/distributer.

In my spare time I imagine I'm getting paid for the web-design work I do.

I've been a chef, and landscaper (not a 'lawncare' person...a landscaper ), a local truck driver, and a bunch of other stuff of course...

I do Interior Trim in new construction. Yea, you know, that carpenter thing. Doors, window treatments, crown moulding, baseboard, bla, bla, bla.
Been doing it on and off for 25 years.
Hate it. ( I need a real job...BAD )
in the past have: Managed a full service car wash, System Control Computer Operator ( alcohol production) , Farmer, Golf cart repair, Salvage Yard parts puller, Auto Paint/Body, High end renovation, Cabinetry, Concrete form, Built swimming pools, Perfume Pimp, and sales trainer, among others.

dang it bob... we just had tile put down thru out house and it was *my* job to fix the carpet, do thresh holds and play with z brackets and burn out tapcon bits in our cement floor. Talkin about a fun time. um...no. I coulda used some tips!

As some of you might have seen due to my previous post on the subject I'm maybe switching jobs. Nothing's settled yet though, so here's my present facts:

Most of my time, I'm working as an eCommerce Manager at a big recently merged IT-company
I can relate to what Wang described, since I've been doubling as Interactive Marketing Manager.

That basicly means that I'm in charge of the team that handles our 6 websites, as well as playing "Style Police" when it comes to online marketing and branding.

In my free time, I work as a chef, bartender, snowboard instructor and do a bit of freelance design.

I write this message from an internet Cafe where I work now and again. With that and 'sponging' as Trigger put it , I get by(usually drunk).

But Im having problems getting web design jobs(Ive gotten two offers: One guy wanted me to rip off someone elses design ... NO! And the other was to make a 'front' for a CD/MP3 selling business which was caught.)

I work in a workshop that manufactures cargo equipment.
I use the lathe to make shafts.

I am an advertising consultant for a big national publication. I actually sell advertisement in print and internet.
