Dave - Yah, made over a couple days. Desaturated (to greys) flipped 90, cut center, duped, flipped, rejoined, painted. There's all kindsa stuff wrong with it. =\ heeh. I love that sig of yours too btw, very cool.

Actually it wasn't that difficult. First I just made a straight line with the shape tool, and I played around with the freetransform tool... and duplicated it many, many times. Then I flattened the shapes together, and blurred a little bit. Duplicated the shapes, blurred 6. Duplicated again blurred 12 and played around with the hue/saturation. The voila!

Nice works this week! Weadah, that's amazing!!

Great works here... I'm new to this forum, but, shouldn't the modified images have some reference to the original? Shouldn't you be able to say "yeah, I can see the original in there... somewhere..."?
I really like Weadah's work, but I don't see the original in there anywhere... Just my honest opinion.

The whole point of this exercise is to see what everyone does with the same image. In fact, it isn't even required that you -use- the image itself: you could create something simply -inspired by- the image.

It's great to see the different paths people take from the same starting point...
